Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.30%
Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO), which rose 4.95% or 1,260.00 points to trade at 26,740.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 4.61% or 350.00 points to end at 7,950.00 and Etb (BVC:ETB) was up 1.88% or 1.50 points to 81.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which fell 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) declined 3.89% or 920.00 points to end at 22,760.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) was down 2.40% or 50.00 points to 2,035.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.42% or 3.45 to $246.35 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.34% or 104.00 to hit $7,854.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.27% or 32.00 to trade at $2,548.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.24% to 4,024.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.51% to 733.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.82% at 100.57.
