Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.20%
Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which rose 4.61% or 350.00 points to trade at 7,950.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO) added 2.91% or 800.00 points to end at 28,300.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) was up 2.86% or 1,580.00 points to 56,800.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which fell 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 at the close. Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) declined 3.82% or 130.00 points to end at 3,270.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) was down 2.65% or 880.00 points to 32,320.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.42% or 6.05 to $255.70 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.77% or 222.00 to hit $7,788.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 4.80 to trade at $2,560.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.00% to 4,041.96, while BRL/COP rose 0.14% to 733.62.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 100.46.
